Meet Alec and Alyssa!

We're the founders of Woodspun. We met working in home-product design eight years ago. Now, we're partners in life and business! While we've worked full-time in architectural fabrication and home decor design, we've always marveled at each other's talents, and shared a desire to pursue our hobbies and passions.

Woodspun began as an outlet for our creativity. On any given night, you're likely to find Alyssa doing punch needle, Alec editing photos or designing wood furniture, and our Corgi, Kaia, snuggled right beside us.

When we're not busy with Woodspun, you'll find us hanging out with Kaia (you'll see her popping up on here from time to time) or traveling somewhere new and exciting. Travel plays a huge role in inspiring our creativity. Combined we've been to about a dozen National parks and even more countries. We have a postcard collection from every place we've been.

New York is our home. Alyssa grew up on Long Island, Alec upstate, and now we call Astoria home. We might be city slickers, but we still take every chance we get to hop out into nature- local hikes, beach trips, Mets games, and –if we're really lucky– we might check another National Park off our list.
