CUTTING/SERVING BOARD CARE

These boards will dry out which may result in warping or cracking over time.

The best way to present this is to constantly keep your board oiled or seasoned.

This board comes finished with mineral oil. This is a non drying and food safe finish. This means that from time to time you may see some oil seep to the surface. This is the boards way of refinishing itself. No need to worry if you see moisture on the surface. Just give it a wipe with any cloth or paper towel ant it’s good to go.

At some point the initial oil finish will run dry. This is when it is up to you to maintain the board to prolong the life of your beautiful new piece.

BOARD BALM INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Rub balm (mixture of mineral oil and natural beeswax) on board generously with a cloth or paper towel

  2. Let sit on surface for 10-15 minutes

  3. Wipe off and buff in any remaining wax on surface

PILLOW & STOOL CARE

YARN PILLING:

On pillows and stools, it is natural for pilling to occur over time.

If you notice pilling, simply refresh it with a fabric shaver. A gentle motion will help remove any fuzz, lint, and pilling. Use light, circular motions to start and increase the pressure gradually.

PULLED STITCHES:

Each piece is handmade with care, please handle gently!

If a loop gets pulled out accidentally - whether it snags on something or gets tugged by little hands or paws - it may take a bit more care to repair. Gently extend the pulled yarn, trim with scissors, and use a tapestry needle to guide it back through the cloth.

CARE:

Spot clean only.
